I have finished CTCI, EPI and about 200 LeetCode problems. DP feels easy now. Can implement LeetCode RegEx pattern matching DP problem in 25 minutes.(first attempt)
Am I ready to apply to Google?

CS is not about solving unknown problems. Thatโ€™s not we learn in college and thatโ€™s not we do at work. There is no such thing as unknown problems. Unless you go on an alien planet and solve their problems. Every field has specific type of problems and thatโ€™s what we learn to solve. LeetCode does make you good at solving CS problems.

Google is not complaining about getting bad hires so what makes you think they will change their interview process. Why would they?

First master Recursion, then master Combinatorial problems. Then you are ready for dynamic programming. Finding recursive relationships between overlapping subproblems is the key. You canโ€™t understand that before mastering Recursion and Combinatorial.

How did you maintain focus? I always get stuck for a few hours trying to figure out why a problem works and then just give up and cry

On demand Focus is very hard for me to achieve . If I am not in focus I canโ€™t code. So I find times when itโ€™s easy for me to focus. You need 100% focus. Donโ€™t do it when you have less than that.

Getting stuck is when you brain is trying harder and learning. Take breaks and try again. Just like building muscles.

Yes to both your questions, at least regarding the coding part of the interview. Practice a couple times on the whiteboard and you're good to go
