Two positions at FOX corporation

Hi. I am getting an offer for a contract-to-hire SRE position at Fox (confirmed on the phone, a formal offer is yet to be issued). At the same time, a recruiter for another position I had applied for at Fox just reached out to me and wanted to schedule a technical interview.
I am not sure if I should tell the recruiter that I am in last stages for the contract position. I am concerned if they know I am proceeding with two positions at the same time, it might jeopardize my already offered position. On the other hand the second position is a direct hire.

What do you think? Should I tell the ppl in the contract position that I’m interviewing for a full time position? Should I tell the full time position that I am in the offer stage for a contract position?!

    Go for direct hire, contractors are second class citizens and many have been roped in with promises that they'll be hired FTE.

      What if I interview for the FTE position and for any reason I don’t pass it? I’m afraid that this might impact my FTC offer. I know this sounds like a kind of phobia, but it is how it is now :(
