Got some numbers for L3 at google recently.
Base: 125k
RSU: 90k total
Signing: :(
Location: Seattle area
Then standard google stuff like 15% annual bonus.
Complete lowball given I have 2 competing offers, one less competitive than the other, and the other substantially more than what googles offering. This is what they gave by telling a higher base of another offer. No negotiations yet.
Not asking for negotiation help, I doubt they’ll come up high enough. But just adding another lowball to the datapoints
YOE: 1
Other offer TC: 210k avg / 4/yr

After tax and savings, my paycheck is a little less than $3k…
I’m saving less by working at Google and living in MTV than I did by working for a F500 in a MCOL area.
You won't get any tangible benefit outside being able to show off your cousins who don't care about you once a year at Thanksgiving.
