Exactly. In decent areas affordable supply exists, but is still extremely low. Which makes sense - no one wants to sell near MS, G, Oculus, etc. since TC is all time high and no layoffs expected.
I guess folks from West Seattle, Sammamish, Bothell, etc. are not looking to leave Seattle area or start renting, but rather upgrade and make some profits on already appreciated real estate they bought a few years ago.

Try 98033 and filter by SFH, <1.25M, 1500+ sqft, 3+ bd, no HOA with a garage.
Then remove outline and move around. Other places where you see only a few houses as well are those where you really wanna stay long time.

There’s still a lot of high income earners who need property. Yeah the inventory is high, but they’re still selling.
