Hey guys,
Got reached out for a E6 pos in Facebook recently. I am a Sr. EM right now, and taking care of 5 different squads- from people management, delivery, system design and lots of other things. I am pretty hands on, and contribute to system design and problem solving with my team every now and then.
So, I asked the recruiter if I should be sitting for M1 instead, and she said I can go for either.
What's the difference in interview process?
How much is the weight on initial coding round? I just figured out doing leetcode everyday after office hours is hard, but I am trying decent- a bit confused may be how to solve the problems in time, and not really sure how much that impacts in real interview
How much is the weight on system design round? I have a strong forte here, at least I believe so, have been involved in lots of real life system design for a while- but keen to know what should I focus most?
I heard the cooldown period for M1 is bit higher compared to E6? Also, once you get in you can always change your track- should I then sit for E6?
Any info/suggestion/help would be highly appreciated!

So you got to be hands on coding too
Also, how do you suggest I prep for this? I have one and half month before the interview. I am trying to solve some easy and medium problems on leetcode. But is there any methodical approach you would suggest me to take? And what about system design, any advices regarding that too?
Thanks in advance.
