Just about to start at C1 this week. TC for NYC is alright, but I'm on Blind. The on-site is a whole day thing (4-5 hrs) with a few people. A few technical rounds that are pretty standard. Then a couple of behavioral rounds that you need to answer in a STAR format. Stuff like "Tell me about a time when..." Finally a case interview where you kinda go back and forth with your interviewer. It felt like a game where you're trying to ask the right questions to your interviewer. Overall, the interview felt very easy, but they put a good amount of weight into STAR and case rounds, not just technical.

When I spoke with the recruiter she asked what I was targeting for comp and I said 160k+ base and she said it should be alright. I wanted to get an idea if 160k was bottom/middle/top of the band since she didn't give much transparency around that

Those numbers look awfully low even by bank standards. I wonder why ! Normal VP salaries at banks is around 175-200 base + bonus extra. Senior Manager (Director) base will be much more . What am I missing ? I hope the recruiter not taking you for a ride

woah, you didn't pass a technical for a Sr Manager? So, even for people management they put a lot of weight on tech test? Was it just a bad luck or you tried to fling it? Also, where did you score 200-300K offers? And passed tests there as well :)
