Preparation tips for Upcoming Google SETI onsite
@Google
SETI = Software Engineer For Tools and Infrastructure.
I have an upcoming seti interview with 4 years exp. The recruiter said that SETI onsite will have 2 algo rounds and 3 seti rounds that mainly go over testing and automation in addition to algos.
I am broadening my algo and sys design prep to encompass stuff related to testing. I am using the testing section of ctci as a template for the prep. In addition I am also going through test frameworks online, particularly how they are implemented in production for systems at scale.
Can someone with firsthand experience of the SETI role and interview please throw a few additional pointers? Would the algorithms and sys design bar be the same for a seti as an swe? Does the interview require factual knowledge of testing/automation or just the overall thought process ?
Thanks :)

BTW, you posted a thread about a bad Hiring Manager interview earlier, right ? How did that go ?
Even if you get first pass, it doesn’t means that you will get an offer! Good luck have fun!
