Hi folks,
I have seen many post in here where people are getting many recruiter DMs from good companies. For me, I'm only getting really bad jobs (e.g. contractor, 80k TC) and Amazon.
Things I have:
- MS and Google on my resume and have experience working with distributed systems and have placed everything I did with performance metrics for each action.
- Did every suggestion LinkedIn asks for a star profile (e.g. photo, summary, etc..)
Things I'm probably missing
- Most technologies I used are internal frameworks so I dont have the buzzwords for popular technologies like Kafka, Redis, etc.
- YOE, currently 3
Can someone here share more stuff that I'm probably missing?
EDIT: Google and MS didnt reach out on LinkedIn, I just cold applied
TC: peanuts

Companies reach out if they’re aggressively hiring, which at the moment is Amazon and Google cloud
