Docusign: P5/Lead TC: 435K (220|15%|730/4) + WLB + Newer product - C#/ .Net stack - Legacy tech stack with no exposure to cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) since it is a monolith. Twilio: E4/Staff TC: 420K (220|0%|800/4) + Newer SOA stack on AWS + Java - On-call might be a PITA since it is a legacy tier 1 service These are final offers. There is also a 15K joining bonus from both. Location: Bay Area YOE: 9
Why do feel so? I understand their stock took a large hit recently but I thought their long term outlook is good.
Folks who are voting for twilio, why?
Because it's a free democratic country
Lmao. Sorry I was just asking to find out what all perks are good in twilio.
Refreshers at both the companies ?
That is a good question. AFAIK, Both have comparable refreshers. But someone else whose more familiar with the 2 can provide some insights.
Twilio refreshers suck.
Did you have to negotiate with either companies or is this their initial offer?
Twilio sucks with poor leadership
Docusign is not much better. Grass is not necessarily greener on the other side. They block promotions on things they cant even do/deliver π€£
@uYWs26: can you expand more on that? Is it line/middle management or senior leadership?
WLB and culture at Twilio is amazing. I am not HR. Said HR.
