Why Boeing over airline stock is that the question? Before 737 Max and COVID Boeing was close to $400. It has been around a long-l time and is relatively stable diversifying between government-funded defense spending and commercial. Commercial has taken a hit but defense has a big backlog and should be fine. When it hit $99 I felt very confident it would go up. The US has basically committed to not letting Boeing fail. Now that it’s hovering at $170 ish I still feel it’s a steal and will only go up, could take a while to reach $400 ish again and go above that but I like the long-term outlook. Airlines seem more hit or miss but could probably get better margins from them. I’m not saying it will ever be the powerhouse it was 30-50 years ago but compared to its current trading price I feel confident I can make decent money out of it

@l33tg0d But until the travel trend go past the level of pre-COVID, airline companies would stay away from ordering jets. How can the revenue or stock price come back to 400ish level say by 2023/2024? So while I believe BA is too big to go bankrupt, stock dilutions may be on the way. What do you think? How much and what % of your total equity is tied to BA?

I'd buy airline stocks, it's guaranteed to go up in the next year or two, but then they'll grow slower than tech stocks. Kinda confused about it.

Is a long term investment and that too none of them are going to go sky high. They might reach prior covid release by 2024. I would still bet my money on AMZN, MSFT and APPL and Let it be. If you are a long term investor :
BUY THE DIP AND FORGET ABOUT IT.
