I used to be on the same profile comparable, when my company hesitated, I just went to outside legal and filed for EB1 and requested my company for documentation. It costed me $13000 but totally worth the try.
I might be dated as it’s been a while I got mine but Go to Sheela Murthy or Rajiv Khanna. Engage them and ask the company to support the documents and fees. It’s ridiculous they won’t do this. We need talented people getting express green card.
@OP SEVP@kss is very right. You are a great candidate for EB1-B but this has to go through a company. I had my profile reviewed by wegreened.com and mine is more or less the same profile as you, but without a patent. They told me that EB1 - A is difficult but EB1 - B is very much possible. I got my I-140 approved a few weeks ago on EB1 - B petition
The suggestion provided by GgeD13 is also valid. Just ask your company to provide all supporting documents. Hire one of the immigration firms to do your paper work for EB1 - B. As someone else suggested, you can negotiate on the terms of the financial contract. If your profile is very strong, they'll certainly return a significant amount of your investment if your profile does not go through an EB1 - B petition. Good luck!!
