Were you in a cave or something?
But why are they so low? Is it because salaries have jumped a lot over the past decade? Keep in mind Glassdoor has been around for more than a decade whereas Blind and Levels are in their infancy.
I've also noticed they put positive reviews front and center for a company, even if the overall review picture is quite negative, and even if negative reviews are rated much much higher. I don't have a lot of evidence for it, but I'm guessing some part of their business model or something they're trying to sell is around helping companies. This explains why they would want to depress salaries as well as paint companies in a good light.
If the employer is an engaged employer, they pay money for that option to have their glorifying review at the top or just highlighted.
Interesting. Makes complete sense now.
I think gd only gives base pay, now does it come closer to reality?
Ok maybe yeah
