Hey guys, I'm looking for new grad referrals 😅. First, a little bit about me:

- Grinded LC + CTCI + EPI for over 1 year straight. I grind LC during class, on the toilet, after midnight, while on the phone. I even tried to do it in the shower once. Overall, 400 LC completed (75 Hard). Before you ask: Yes, this includes LRU Cache and trapping rainwater.
- Top 10 on 2 LC competitions, Top 50 on several more.
- ~1900 Codeforces Rating, grinded CF for about 6 months as well.
- For every company that I have gotten the initial recruiter contact, I have gotten all the way to the offer, 100% of the time. This includes Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Bloomberg.
- Have multiple side projects across different technologies (Backend, Mobile, Web w/ React, Machine Learning). Have won 2 hackathon awards.

I'm looking for referrals for Software Engineering positions (new grad level). I'm most interested in:

- Unicorns
- Promising Startups
- Quant Companies

Thank you for reading and if there is anything I can do in return, please let me know!

It means going back to unsolved problems and solving them. Sometimes people also say upsolve when referring to going back to a problem that you were unable to solve in a contest due to time alone (but if it were not for the contest ending, you would have been able to solve it).

why not do ur own startup

    • Lol I love it when people say their team inside a large corporation is like a startup. It’s not even close. And are you serious the operational side of things can be learned through books, videos, and seminars? Like reading books like “the lean startup” can make you ready? I’ve talked to numerous founders of actual successful startups and even unicorns, and they all same the same thing. If your end goal is a startup, join one now - there is no other way to gain the experience needed elsewhere.

    • Startups aren’t just about the vision, product, and tech. There are so many other things involved that decides whether or not it becomes successful. You can have an independent team in a large corporation that drives its own product, but to say it’s like a startup is a fallacy.
