Done onsite last week and no feedback yet. No news is good news? I think I did alright. Getting more and more anxious now.
One thing is for sure: an unexpected call on a Friday is always going to be a rejection.
Why? Recruiters going through low priority to do lists?
Best day for rejection is before the weekend
I waiting 3 weeks and got told to hit the road. No news is not always good
I waited for 3 weeks just to be told that all interviewers submitted feedback and it's ok to go to hiring committee
Hiring committee took one more week. As a result I got verbal offer but rejected.
Who rejected who?
I still haven’t heard back about my interview I did a year ago. Still crossing my fingers.
😄
I got an email from my recruiter the next day saying congratulations - even before they had all my feedback. If you don't hear back fast, it's probably bad news, or you are borderline - but may be lucky!
It means it's neither clear accept nor clear reject. One week means (hopefully) your interviewers would've filled feedback but hiring committee hasn't seen your packet yet. In case the feedback is very obviously good or very obviously bad, recruiter would've told you.
Fast news is usually bad news. No news is either good or bad. They took a while for me after the onsite and it was bad news. Others have said the opposite though too.
