I got a team match for engineering productivity swe role. I am in dilemma whether to take it or wait for product development swe. Can someone share more insights on the nature of work and growth oppurtunities for engineering productivity swes.
Dont do it. I rejected a phone call itself when recruiter put forth eng productivity.
What was your reason? Slow growth?
Its not interesting work and once you do its not transferrable skills to anything else. Its basically working on internal tools and over long term people who work on core distributed systems have a better carrer.
