When does premium clock starts when petition is sent to USCIS. Does it start when USCIS receives package or when USCIS generates receipt number? My h1 packet was delivered to VSC yesterday morning at 10.30. Also when can i expect receipt and notice of approval? Any recent experience would really help. Filed on 12/5 Receipt yet to receive update: Got email from attorney that they received receipt on 12/7 update: approved on 12/17 :) all the best to others.
The clock starts on receipt, because the opposite of a receipt is a rejection of your package
Hard copy receipt takes time but an email(with your case number) would be sent to your attorneys in 1 or 2 days after receiving it.
mine was filed on 12/6, finger crossed!
Filed 12/6. Awaiting receipt.
All d best.. Keep posted once you receive your receipt
Receipt received 12/10.
Filed on 12/05, received receipt on 12/07. Waiting for approval 🤞🏼
Filed on 12/6 ..🤞
My lawyers filed it on November 22nd and they said they haven't received anything yet and are citing the reason that since my case was transferred from California to Vermont, there might be some confusion on part of USCIS. So, they are planning to send the packet again to Vermont center this time. Anybody faced a similar situation?
I got approved within 1 day. Filing: 12/6 Receipt: 12/9 Approval: 12/10
Omg you are so lucky!!! Congrats!!!
Wow! I have never heard someone receiving an approval in a day! Congratulations.

Your attorney should have received the receipt today. My application was approved in 8 days. When you file in premium, they are supposed to give you a decision in two weeks.
Congrats buddy. Your filing date and center where they filed premium?
