Hi Folks, I am a network engineer based out of Bangalore. I want to write a lot about how swe /sde/ nde related posts motivated me to work hard and switch but I think I'll keep it short. First - Thanks to all blinders who share their incredible journey and keep others motivated. Second - Seeing such high TC even in India made me work and reskill/upskill and finally get an offer after about 2 months of work. So here goes: I have received an offer from Micron Technology Hyderabad for the position of Lead Network Engineer (grade E3) Proposed comp - Base - INR 21.5 lpa + JB - INR 3.5 + RSU - $8k/4yr Yoe - 8 and some change. Current Comp - Senior Consultant - INR 15.6 lpa (fix) Do you guys think this is a fair offer? The HR is adamant about the base. I was able to negotiate the stocks from 5k to 8k but that's it. If anybody from micron here could let me know what's the max base + stocks for E3, It would be really helpful. P.s. - I have interview lined up in Zscaler for TAM and Juniper networks for CFTS TAC but currently this is the only offer I got therefore no leverage to negotiate further. Thank You All #tech #networking #compensation #indiasalary #networkengineer
