Current: TC: 80k YOE: 2 yrs B.S. in STEM, non-CS Offer 1 NextRoll (remote) Software Engineer TC: 160k base + ~28k stock options +5k sign-on bonus Offer 2 Rivian (Must move to Palo Alto) Entry-level Software Engineer TC: 123k (up from 115k) base + ~15k RSUs I'm waiting on a counter-offer from Rivian after saying I got a better offer elsewhere, but money is not my (main) concern. (EDIT: Got the counter-offer of 123k base) I'm interested mainly in the following things: 1. Potential for growth and learning new skills 2. WLB 3. And then money :) From searching around on Blind I'm getting mixed reviews about Rivian, and there isn't much about NextRoll. At the moment I'm leaning towards NextRoll, both WLB and salary-wise... but EVs seems more interesting and have more potential for growth than marketing/ad tech. Not sure I want to move from my MCOL to HCOL Palo Alto though. Thanks in advance for your advice. #rivian #rivianautomotive #offer #nextroll #rollworks #swe

did you get a counter offer from rivian?
I did, they improved the base from 115k to 123k.
