How did you know your Google interview performance?

Mar 1, 2021 7 Comments

I've asked a couple of times. Recruiters are not quite willing to tell me how I performed on the interviews, while there are so many people on Blind actually knowing how they performed. How did you guys know you got strong hire, hire or no hire, etc?

Same mine just said "mixed" and "I can't give you more details but they said work on x"

But mine also forgot to replace template words like "sign off with something googley" and "dear candidate" in his emails so I think I just got a bad or distracted one haha.

Recruiter tells you. In my case at least they did. I was just hire. So he asked me to wait for some time and give the round which I was week at to get Senior role.

    • Yeah I heard in EU some laws force them to do so. Not 100% though

Not necessary. Many companies donโ€™t even reply. But most of the good one do reply telling you what you did good and what was bad. I normally always ask the HR in the first HR round to tell me the feedback no matter how my interview was. This gives me insight on what should I improve on and data points to focus. Also if interviewer totally fucked me up even after doing good or if he was not good in asking question.
