Has anyone worked at Benchling or have any insights to growth, culture, wlb, etc? Would love to hear!
Have only fantastic things to say about Benchling. It's a great company with thoughtful leadership, solid engineers, a worthy mission, really strong performance that's only gotten better with covid. Kind, empathetic people. Lots of transparency and thought around communication. Main critical comment would be it's a bit junior skewed on engineering side for now, but the team is working on fleshing out more experienced folks.
Hey OMXV85, can I dm you. Have some questions on Benchling..
What's a typical new grad offer? Equity?
Is the interview process leetcode?
Benching is great! I’m not on the engineering side but the company is pretty consistent across the orgs for people stopping work at 5 and not working on weekends. The company is growing extremely quickly - lots of investment into the types of companies that are its target customer profile because of general trends in biotech and all that only more accelerated by COVID. Around half of leadership is promoted internally and the benefits are great. All better than every company I’ve worked for prior.
