Curious about your company cell phone use policy. I was given a verbal warning yesterday bc someone in management feels that my cell phone use was excessive. No real details were given to me about when the offense(s) occurred other that it was brought up to my supervisor and they brought it to my attention. During the brief reprimanding I was told that there is no “official company policy”.
We use our phones as an Authenticator and as a data analyst I use Spotify as my playlist on my phone to drone out environment and it is encouraged and accepted to have co workers listening to music.
So I’m curious as to what your company policy is, if there is one. And what is considered excessive. My thumbing through playlist has not affected the quality of my work or so any significant down time. And of course the verbal warning came with an email confirmation. 🤷🏼♂️

Imma be pissed if they ask me why I am using my phone.
What company is this? Sounds like a sweatshop.
That’s my cell phone policy.
