On WLB, currently all the teams right now are stretched due to high attrition
Coming to the teams, apart from Infra none of them are good - WLB, Vision, Teams
On layoffs, none in the near future looking at the current attrition
Also depends on interview performance - if you were exceptional - they may offer max as well.
Anyways neither of us are helping OP choose a team so I guess we can stop here.
If there were more people, which would mean better wlb (but high cost for company), they would think of cutting down costs and affect job security.
Since they have lower employee count which leads to poor wlb (and attrition) and higher job safety.
MSFT, Google , Attlasian, LinkedIn are few examples
