Is it still worth joining Dropbox in 2021 ?

I got an interview with Dropbox. Considering as they are full remote.

My question,

Compared to Amazon how is the work culture at dbx ?
Their stocks doesn’t seem very impressive, so what’s the long term growth ?
Is Dropbox a good company to have on resume ?
Considering recent layoff and a dying product what are the pros for the company long term ?

Hahaha for all who are saying how dbx is still alive:

As a product, we still have 2nd highest number of storage users (just behind Google drive) and every quarter getting more users. Plus with new acquisitions have rapid increase now. It is definitely past its peak but still a tier 1 company and folks from G/FB are joining us every month (recently seeing more Amzn folks though) 😜

    As an employer:
I joined from G, and I can 100% vouch for dbx as an employer. Top tier pay (500k+ TC at IC3 <$450k without stock appreciation>)
Apart from top tier pay, amazing talented n humble coworkers, great wlb (i mean like msft level wlb), good tech stack n tons of opportunities, unlimited pto bunch of company wide pto. I mean what the f**k do u need more. Plus for folks who want to work remote we have some of the best remote working benefits (u literally get $7000 a year to spend on anything that’ll help u work remotely)

Funny thing is, this post is written by someone in Amazon 🤣🤣🤣
I literally cannot think of a single thing that amazon has better than dbx (as an employer, not as product I love amazon product)

I downloaded Dropbox after getting an interview invite. It's so ass dude. 1GB of space? Google gives out 15GB for free. They can't compete, nor do they try to compete.

Can't talk too much shit though I failed the online assessment

A lot of the money comes from business sector…large companies like FB, slack rely on us and use our product. We also have a pretty large consumer base (second highest market share of file storage). Many folks want the ability to upload larger files (100 Gb+) seamlessly between devices , which is done better and faster at DBX. We’re now targeting media sector for storage and coming up with new products around file storage so future is not as bleak as you may think.

@Amazon If you think 15 GB is better than 1 GB, why do we care about you? Target customers are those who feel no difference between 15 GB and 1 GB as they need huge amount of storage and they will pay. Free customer is losing money business as we have no ads revenue

    Great:
    Wfh, wlb, tc, tech.
    Not so great:
Future is unclear. Past it’s peak.

Welp, seems to me Dropbox is a sinking ship that nothing special going. Like you said, there is no stock growth.
