Securities backed line of credit (aka LMA) if you can and believe the stock will increase over the time horizon. Otherwise yes sell if you need to

  Options trading is due to insider trading, idk why you couldnt use it as collateral on a loan. Pretty sure people at aapl do it.

  Yes, and companies often err on the side of caution and prohibit all employees from trading outside the trading windows. Whether insider trading rules apply to them or not.
  
  The point is to check your company’s policies before pledging company equity.
