i just feel like this person didnt think i was worth their time or that i wasnt someone theyd want to proceed with. it felt very unprofessional and makes me not wanna try again. am i tripping?
Yeah I’ll try and think about it this way
I had similar experience at google once for phone interview and the interviewee felt bad via email later, at the same she didn’t reschedule saying recruiter messed up her calendar !! The recruiter was not helpful and threw me under the bus as she could have been fired as per my google referral . End result — I didn’t get phone interview and it ended like I didn’t let recruiter know etc......wasn’t expecting it.
Did you tell the recruiter? What did he say? Are you going to have another interview?
Yeah at the top of the year. Just sucks to be delaying things with a pending offer someplace else 😭
Ya, holiday seasons. I have accepted an offer from fb but after accepting things have gone terribly slow. So cant do anything but wait
If a person didn't show something is wrong, they don't get to form opinions or skip interviews. Interviewers are human though and things happen. Why didn't you tell your host or recruiter within 5 minutes of the interview?
I did! They couldn’t get a gold of the interviewer
Ahh ok, sorry to hear and hope the reschedule goes well. Sometimes it's nice to break up an interview.
Its holidays time. Give them a break. Easy to not look at calendar and miss. Recruiters fault that they scheduled at this time of the year
Yeah
Happened to me at Google.. twice.. i didn't sweat it even with all the self-doubt.. just kept rescheduling.. later when i was hired one of the no-shows ended up being my manager 😂
Hahahahaha nice
Culture at FB is super bad now. Reach out to Recruiter and reschedule.
They reached out to reschedule but that put a sour taste in my mouth
Not taking it personally just kinda disappointed that it happened
