Housing in Bay Area near Menlo Park

Asking for a friend:
I am moving to Bay Area to work for Meta in the Menlo Park Office. I was wondering which neighborhoods to rent would be good in terms of commute and accessibility of grocery#tech . I don’t have a car and would be using the shuttle for the next couple of months.

I was looking into the following areas :
1. San Mateo
2. Redwood City
3. Sunnyvale
4. San Jose
5. Mountain View
