At work we have projects in Java and node typescript. We have a new project in the works that will be done in Node instead of Java. When I asked why, they said that Java is dying and all future new projects will be done in Node.
Is this really true? I am low YOE so idk. I would hope not because I like Java and am really not a fan of Node/JS/TS.
Not at Apple, different company in the Bay Area. Is Java rare in the Bay Area compared to JS/TS? What would you say is the most popular?
