Context:
I am not Indian but used to work for this manager who’s totally unqualified for her job. She has a statistic degree from one of the IIT campus but doesn’t seem to know basic stats concepts. I always wonder she got her degrees thru dishonest ways.
In some Asian countries it’s almost impossible to cheat or bribe when it comes to college admissions just wondering if it’s true for IIT?

Additionally, bachelor level (graduate) courses at IITs attract the best minds because they are crazy difficult to get into, whilst Masters and PhD programs are relatively easier.
Not sure if statistics is offered as a standalone bachelor level program tbh.
And, there are other reasons a person can seem confused - burnout, role and skill mismatch among other things.
My understanding of the strength of the correlation b/w college degrees and professional success has been dropping over time ☺️
I am salty because i got asked LC hards all the way.
OP, it is next to impossible to cheat in the IIT entrance exam. The density of smart people is very very high in IITs. Not everyone there is smart. It is not necessary to go to IIT to do well in life. All valid but still you will find really smart people there.
