This is very important data for me. Can you please share your thoughts? If you are a permanent employee in a good company (i work for cisco) and have no history of working with vendor/contractor/consultancy with an engineering degree from a reputed college from your home country, is there any cases where VISA extension got rejected for you/your friends? Please share your experience. thanks in advance #cisco #H1B #visa
In my circle I have seen most of them being approved. A few instances of RFEs. One double RFE. The double RFE took more than a year to get resolved
You may want to correct your title.
Don't think it depends on past as much as it depends on the present circumstances as the ruling government policies and USCIS shutdowns due to pandemic or budget cuts
yes true. Past data gives some confidence and some bad cases. Present situation is different and will recover in a year or so. My visa next extension is in 2023march (proces might start 2022september). I am going for a big investment for house which is tight to my budget as it is too good property though the market might slow down a bit. Hence want to have the data for bad cases. Thanks for reply
Go ahead with the house purchase. You would have lived 2 years by the time your visa gets extended. I bought my house less than one year of my extension and it did not even strike me once to think this way 🤔
