Is Israel getting bad PR the reason for banning tik tok?
Hey guys! Recently, ive been interested in the DA career path so I took up courses to learn the basics, like SQL, Python, and Data Analysis. My question is how can i get my foot in the door in this field within the Bay Area. It is internship? Reaching out to smaller companies to volunteer? Thank you so much!
As a Business Analyst switching to DA shouldn't be too hard. You will need to tailor your resume according and make SQL your best friend. DM if you have any questions, happy to help!
If there are active meetup groups where you are that will help you find potential opportunities.
Personally, I cannot tell the difference between business analyst and data analyst... there are many roles sharing similar skill sets. I would recommend to get more connections on LinkedIn, say professionals and recruiters— getting into the circle.
I would also learn a BI reporting tool. Like Tableau, Datastudio, and/or Looker
What’s your current area of expertise?
I have 3 years of experience as a Marketing Operations Manager & about 7 months and ongoing experience as Business Product Analyst
With your experience it should be fairly easy. Start with some Kaggle projects with data. With DIRTY data. Not clean. And practice SQL. a lot.
