I feel exhausted even after the rounds talking to HR. now i cracked 80% of my phone screen, with 4 onsites scheduled. But i feel so tired and hard to get excited. Any advice or experience how you have managed to interview for so many companies but still keep spirit up?
Around 3 months, start to finish. Started with 1 OnSite per week, quickly moved to 2-3, took 1 week off before my final rounds. Last week, think I had 4, but that wasn’t by choice.
If you had weeks of gap between on-sites did it not conflict, in terms of deciding on which company to go for.
Here’s the secret: there are no deadlines. You make a decision when you’re good and ready. It’s a seller’s market right now, use that to your advantage.
Yeah, hr is so boring
For me the HR rounds are becoming the worst part.
Recently interviewed with 27 (you read that right) companies. Overall got only 2 rejections, and 2 where the level was not what I wanted. (Didn’t fail any Phone screens, LOL!) If you’re good, interviewing gives you energy, otherwise, just go work for Amazon. They’ll be happy to have you :)
How long did that take you?
27 onsites?
