do you wfh often? how’s your productivity when you wfh? Any tips for better output? i’m in a research science team and my manager has encourged my team to do more remote works instead of coming to the office. this is very new to me. i recently joined Cisco and my previous company always wanted to have more people in campus. any advise would be welcome.
productivity is high when work is planned. the real trick is to designate a physical work zone. least amount of distractions being the key to success. also, do not overwork, diminishing returns are bad.
My productively is more qualitatively and quantitatively when am wfh

WFH can be a double edged sword for me, too. It helps if you have a workspace in your home, whether that's a whole room / home office situation, or even just a desk that you don't use for other stuff. As well, it helps to stay away from areas of the house where you can sink a lot of time. For me, that means staying away from the TV -- I don't work in the same room as it. If you're planning on running an errand or stepping out for a coffee, give your boss and or your team a heads up. They'll appreciate the transparency and you'll avoid the "are you really doing work" talk that can come about from bad timing. Given that your boss is encouraging WFH maybe that's less of a concern. Lastly, if some kind of issue comes up, be ready to WebEx in to a call at a moment's notice. People who are in office will appreciate you being proactive, even if they want to just resolve through email
Terrible
I accomplish roughly 5% of the work in 200% of the time when WFH. It couldn't be harder for me to focus.
I listen to epic music to boost wfh productivity. Wfh once per week and productivity varies.
I do it once a week and I’m insanely productive. Tried to do it more often but I became a burned out caveman and stopped,
Much more productive than in the office. I wfh 90% of the time now. Our offices are open space and incredibly noisy. Every 15 minutes someone has to pop in and ask a question they could have searched for in the docs, it gets very distracting.
I hate WFH as I end up working more than when in office.
So you have amazing productivity
