I’m new to blind and when I scroll through the posts I am finding quite a few on PIP at Amazon. I’ve been with Amazon for 4+ years (non tech) and personally seen only 2 folks from my org PIPed officially though our orgs attrition is 49%. I was wondering if PIP %/absolute number is higher on the tech side of Amazon or just that my org Any insights from fellow and ex Amazonians?

In my previous role I knew two L5s (equivalent to PMs) who got PIPed but that was it so I was curious how it is on the other side of the fence.
