ClearanceJobs.com is basic, Glassdoor is soso, and levels.fyi seems incomplete.

TC: 220k

  • A social media site for people with clearances is a very bad idea

Nothing, it's too niche. Most companies don't give a shit about security clearances. Why would someone make a tool or app that caters to a small fraction of a relatively small field. Additionally, many of these are public sector and pay peanuts.

Can confirm, most of the defense contractors or employers who need you to have security clearances pay 🥜🥜

lol if you have a Secret or higher DM me. I am hiring, as is my brother at Microsoft on the Public Sector side. No idea where 🥜 comes from.

Maybe you both are referring specifically to Product.

We often have engineers making $500k TC and that doesn’t include sales bonuses or accelerators. I know MS can get higher than that with stock, TS clearance and solid experience.

You won’t find a solid site for that kind of comparison. Generally, if you’re being sought by a defense or intelligence contracting company, they will be upfront with salary expectations. If you find the right role with high enough clearance, you can make good money; but it’s rarely one for one. Look at the actual forms first. Palantir, for example, will compensate right up there.
