pros
-71 base salary
-i like the company culture
cons
-aem (adobe experience manager) developer, less react (is this a valuable skill?)
-very little benefits (health, retirement)

i am new grad so i can rely on parents health insurance but still hesitant, probably going with small company but i would like to know your thoughts.

both companies are consulting, i dont mind the location for either of these places

  • Neither. Even the small company role isn’t technical enough. Seems like you are setting for too little. First company is a launchpad. Look for a tech company. And get on that F*ing leetcode and grind. So many youngsters I know wanted to get some job, started at a consulting company and their career trajectories weren’t the same as their peers at tech 10 years out. Good luck!

      Then maybe which company or project gives you a better learning opportunity. 5 or 6k difference is not much to differeciate between them. In a year or two, with some experience, skills and leetcode you can easily double your salary atleast
