Is there an official counter offer policy at Google or Meta?
I hear at Google if a top performer brings an outside offer, there’s an official way for Google to match/beat that offer or something along those lines. Is there something similar at Meta?
Or is it just “mention to your manager” (without sounding threatening of course), and maybe you’ll get additional equity when refresher time comes around? Or is that wishful thinking…
I’m PM at Meta right now, but can’t find anything internally.
