Pre-WFH era, if someone was sick they wouldn’t go into work and therefore would take the day off.
Nowadays, if someone is too sick to go into work (maybe contagious) but not too sick to sit at their laptop from home, is the expectation that they should work? Or take the day off?

With that being said I had Covid-19 and worked most days because I just started my new job and didn't want to start off on the wrong foot. So I'm Lowkey a full fledged proletariat
Any half good manager will recognize that and not expect you to work. Now, of course up to you how much you work.
