I quit the market early this year after seeing more than 30 bids on a house. This is not the year. At least not until summer. Inventory is extremely low. Don’t be a fool by outbidding institutional investors or ppl with recreational money. Don’t burn your hard earned money.

  New listings are at normal rate. Demand is what's crazy for whatever reason. Look at redfin data for past years. Also look at cumulative new listings data in Zillow for past years, it actually more in 2021. People are gate crashing to buy a house due to pure fomo and before the interest rate hike.
