About me: Dutch citizen, PhD in America from a top 5 university with hundreds of citations for my papers, recently started as a research scientist at Google and am on OPT. My girlfriend is an American citizen (we have been together for many years and plan to get married).
It seems like options for getting a greencard are the EB1 route, EB2 route which could be fast for a Dutch citizen, marriage route, or diversity greencard. Ideally I'd like to avoid h1b.
Of these, what's the fastest route and alternatively what's the cheapest route for getting a greencard?
I'm interested to know how fast EB1 is, would prefer a non-marriage route so that we can take our time planning the wedding.

Marriage might be the least risky.
EB is the cheapest in the sense your employer pays, whereas marriage most likely you pay, not the it's a kid if money though. Few grand in fees and lawyer hours.
Pretty safe IMO
