    Liveperson: ace the coding interview and got reject for no reason. The interviewer seems inexperience, pick a random question from LC and don’t like the fact that I solved it too fast

    Invitae: just normal talking with an indian guy who has very strong accent and then got reject. Don’t bother to care about it

    I feel like shitty company just ask simple and easy question and then make decision based on their emotion

      @umum: Countless light-hearted online applications without replies (i would have used referrals if i were serious about making a change) & countless spams from Amzn recruiters that I ignored. Finally one time I got yet another recruiter spam and got curious, got thru all the hurdles and went for the full loop interview, got offer and thought it wouldn't be too bad of an idea to join and try it out... 😂

      So once if you only count the attempts that involved actual human interactions. L5 SDE 3 YoE.
