Amazon engineering managers boycott

I think the amazon culture is result of amazon engineering managers who are not able to push back PIP culture to their managers. These managers have a choice (to leave company). I have heard some of them saying "If I don't do it then someone else will" which is true but that is a statement which mostly criminals make, putting someone on PIP deliberately just to fill some quota is criminal.

A lot of amazon engineering managers have never been engineers themselves(TPM's turned into managers), they can't distinguish between a colon and semi-colon even if their life depends on it but somewhow they are leading team of engineers just because they can speak Bezos leadership principles

This epidemic is slowly spreading whenever they move out of Amazon, they carry their basic instincts with them. Seattle area is the worst affected, a lot of these managers have moved onto Salesforce, Google (Kirkland, Seattle office especially in GCP).

I have decided to take a stand, never to work with anyone who has been manager at Amazon no matter how polished they behave. Sometimes we don't have a choice when these people all of a sudden appear in management chain (leaving is only option) but I am going to practice due diligence when taking a new job where team matching options are there (Google, Meta etc) or at the time of interviewing.

Only if we boycott these managers then companies like wake up and will be extra careful when hiring such people, I don't expect lot of support in the beginning but all things start small.
