Mostly hacker wannabes posting links to articles other people wrote with their own useless commentary added to show they are "hip and with it". Its just annoying

Also a lot of women who use their femininity to make a brand. 5% infosec, 95% join my discord and talk to me yatta yatta. Not ragging on women, just the ones that take advantage of thirsty dudes to build a following and then eventually monetize it.

i've seen the types. Not surprisingly, many of them are transgender or LGBT too. Not dissing any type of people, just stating what I noticed

  • I don’t work in Cybersecurity, but to me the biggest issue seems to be software supply chain.
Nowadays, people use under maintained or compromised open source libraries without giving much thought.
That has been a big vector for attacks.

    In no particular order:
    *Software Supply chain
*Container security and threat detection are a dark art to most companies
*ML/threat detection --> a lot of companies/researchers claim they can do cool stuff with ML but most of it is BS.
