I've recently gotten an offer for a Strategic Operations Manager position in the Uber Eats (Eater Operations) team. The only thing holding me back from accepting the offer is the fear of layoffs.
I'm at Amazon currently in a safe & steady job. However, the pay is shite. The move to Uber will give me a 35% hike in Base Pay.
From what I've read through articles, it was mainly Customer Operations/Community Operations & recruiting that got hit.
What are the chances of layoffs in the core Uber Eats operations team which is growing at a steady pace? #layoff
