Hi guys!
This is my first Blind post... Was hoping to get a little help from all those who are familiar with Rotational/Associate Product Manager roles and Product Manager roles.
Last August, I applied for the Facebook RPM programme. I heard these programmes are insanely competitive. By a miracle, I’ve managed to make it to the final rounds of the RPM interviews.
Today, I got the sad news that I didn’t get in :(
Now, I’m thinking about my next step...
I’m considering to re-apply next year. But, I’m also thinking to just switch to a PM role ASAP and maybe one day go for the “normal” PM role. I’ve seen comments on RPM posts saying it may be easier to get the “normal” PM role than the RPM role.
Looking forward to hear your thoughts on this!
Thanks!

Almost all good PM jobs I see on LinkedIn require minimum 2-3yrs PM experience. You’ll be able to jump from HSBC to a tech company down the line
I applied to RPM back in April and got rejected with no response. Applied to switch over to product at C1 then applied for RPM again in August and managed to get an offer this time around
