      LinkedIn is that really true though? I asked for a range for a job at NPL in CA and they said they couldn't tell me.

      I think alot of these "must advertise salary for listing" laws are not going to be enforced. Shit half the time the salary range listed has 100+ k pay band so it's nonsense.

    • it is. per CLC 432.3 recruiters in CA can't ask your current salary and have to disclose the range, so for me it's a huge red flag if they avoid answering "how much thos job pays?" question.

    Not a recruiter, but information is power. Why would they give that away if you apply anyways? They instead ask your expectations and tell you yes or no
