Total I have 3.7 years of work experience. I still have 10 days left to join any of the above company. Compensation breakUp @Arcesium : 36-36.5 ( 29 fixed + 3-3.5 variable + 4LTI) @FarEye : 34.9 ( 29 fixed + 3 variable+ 10% stocks) @noBroker: 34 ( 30 fixed + 4 variable) @vymo: 37 ( 33 fixed + 4 join bonus) People in blind saying Vymo has worst life balance. I don't stay long in any company hardly 1.6-2 years In future I may try for Microsoft or Google or fb etc.. So for now I want some good company has good WLB + culture + flexible timings. It should add value to my resume. I want to go with arcesium. Please suggest.. any idea. #engineering #software #swe #compensation #wlb
Arcesium is good Go ahead !
Arcesium is mid office. If you want to be in finance goto Frontoffice (Deshaw). Mid and back office don't add much business value
Go for Arcesium
Have been at arc for 4 years: Culture: one of the best Flexible timings: need 20-30% overlap with others, otherwise you can work on your own, I’ve been a early starter, so worked typically from 9-5 while rest of my team started at 12. WLB: depends on the team, a lot.
When do you get to know about team? I have an offer but I have no idea about the team
Which company u have offer. You can check with HR after 10 days of official offer letter they scheduled call with Manager. Because I am negotiating with them so they scheduled so that I can get idea on role etc.. Usually any company will schedule managers calls 2 weeks before joining
I have an offer from Arcesium. I haven’t accepted yet. Have to accept within 2 days. If I don’t like the team, can we change the team later?
Stay away from nobroker as far as possible
Arcesium - No WLB
My project is core pricing team. I enquired about it . Got many positive response about that team.. During one calls only it's some what stress. Others people said very good WLB.
You can check the reviews (100+) for Arcesium on blind, you don't have to take my word for it. I'm just explaining my first hand experience.
