I have offers from Stripe(L3), Meta(E5) and Doordash(E6)
I am looking for higher TC, career growth in the next job. And I would like some help and feedback on which one to pick.
TC looks like this
Stripe: 228/1M/35 (room available for sign on negotiation)
Meta: 220/875/100 (recruiter says this is the max)
DoorDash: 245/1.25M/24
Annual Bonus - Stripe and Meta have 15%, DD has none.
Assumption
1) I get meets expectation for the next 4 years.
Stripe has no refreshers.
Meta refresher ~160k/4yr
DD Refresher ~180k/2yr
2) 4% hike per year and
3) stock value remains the same, here is how the numbers look like
Year ----------One-----------Two--------Three-------Four
Stripe----------547-----------522---------533---------544
Meta-----------571-----------523---------573---------624
DD--------------581-----------657----------757--------768
Comparing TC
DD looks like a clear winner on the paper (unless I did my math wrong).
Stripe is not liquid so looks weak (upside of IPO can be discounted for current valuation being high)
Meta is more stable company and stock is pretty low atm
Career growth wise - DD E6 seems more attractive than Meta E5. And meta being more stable, I am not sure how easy it is to uplevel to E6.
TC: 360K
Level: L5
YOE: 9

Unless you plan on jumping in 2 years again, DD isn’t your best option.
Refreshers are highly dependent on performance btw.
