Distributed Systems Work in Seattle

I worked at a larger company before building real distributed services. I left due to toxic culture but miss the technically challenging projects. Most of the companies I know use Google/Aws for infrastructure. Any small/mid sized companies in Seattle doing real distributed systems work?
