Hi I applied via an ex coworker at amazon in October for a PMM role. They reached out to me week and half ago I haven never interviewed at amazon earlier. I am definitely not prepared for their principles and stories around it so I’m taking a week + to prepare .i also have few other interviews lined up but want to give my best shot at Amazon. I have a few queries - is it okay to take time to prepare for these interviews or will I loose the opportunity if i delay. I heard google and fb allow candidates to prepare well before scheduling interviews. How’s it at amazon and particularly with product marketing roles ? Any other helpful inputs appreciated with regards to interview and the process Tia #marketing #amazon #productmarketing TC- 0 ( jobless )
I just went through the process and got an offer yesterday. I had 7 days between scheduling and on-site, which was enough time to prepare. It’ll be 100% on LP behavioral questions. I don’t think there’s a need to push out a PMM interview to prepare. I used Dan Croiter YT vids and it really helped. Although I did what everyone said not to do, repeat stories. But I didn’t have 28+ stories nor desire to invest even more time. Still got the job tho
Congrats. How long did it take them to give an update after the first phone screen? 2 business days as some threads suggest?
