I had phone call interview at Facebook but didn’t select for onsite. is it ethical to add interviewer on linkedin and ask feedback for improvement? it’s product design role
You can never be too ethic
don’t do that
If you have an H1B - do it If you don't have an H1B - don't do it If you went to a top school as an F1 student - don't do it If you went to a shitty school with an F1 Visa - do it
What's your reasoning behind this
Doesn't have to be solely for feedback though, right? You add them just to stay in touch, aka; re-apply later or to a different position.
I misread. I thought you meant recruiter. Adding the interviwer.. Yeah, that's a little weird man. Not unethical, just weird. Unless you guys got along swimmingly.
Not unethical just weird and stalker-y
You can send a connection request to the interviewer and if he accepts it, you can send a message too. If he doesn't accept your request, better not to send any messages.
Better ask the recruiter for feedback. They keep silent to be cautious and on the safer side. The recruiter may provide you some feedback on phone.
Do you think you solved, coded up, and explained the problems correctly? How can you not be aware of where you messed up?
I've been very creeped out when people have done this to me. Maybe if you got on really well with them and think they might actually like to connect with you.
Well it’s definitely bad grammar. 😁
It’s blind not bloomberg
Keep on ethic’ing 😂
